No, I have NOT died.

Nor have I given up on DA... yet.

So I haven't been on DA because the stuff I've been doing won't upload from home, but I HAVE been doing lots of art through the holidays.

Holy moly I've been away for ages, such great holidays and so much to type about!

So for Christmas I went to visit my cousins and whatnot in the country. It was great to see the place again, but through the middle of the day it was so hot you could actually feel yourself cooking if you went outside. I was jumping into the pool repeatedly to cool off. One problem I faced was constantly feeling drowsy. The climate out on the farm is so different from on the coast so I'm always really tired when I'm out there... same thing happens to my relatives when they visit us on the coast, they end up just sleeping a lot. XD

And for Christmas I got an iPod Nano! Awesome little shiny red one, so now I'm using it for a good few solid hours each day. Now I don't need to go get my computer whenever I want to listen to music. ^_^

Did tons more stuff, learning circus tricks from circus people, bowling, canoeing, swimming, eating lots of sugar, furniture removal jobs, film-making, and spending most of the day sleeping in the hot weather. Gee, it's been so sticky and hot this Summer! They're just getting worse and worse each year. Meh, global warming?

Now, I wish I could yak on about how the New Year's party went, and the RvB marathon, and the lazertag, and all the rest of it, but I won't because I can hear you yawning from here. Hah!

Anyways, more important news is I'm starting up a little group called Madness Studios with some of my friends. I'm still working on the website, but the majority of it is up and running: [link]

Oh and some more news, I'm going to sell commissions in any style you like for only US$10 each (maximum price, those who want simpler or smaller commissions will be charged less). The commissions can star up to three characters and will be 700x700 pixels in size. Since they are so cheap in price (I mean, come on, one commission is cheaper than a decent lunch!) I won't be spending more than six hours on each piece (gee, I'd be getting paid more for working at McDonalds). See my newest piece, Kneo (digital piece, 4.5 hrs), for example: [link]

I'm only selling these until my art slots are full, so if you're interested get dibs on a slot quickly. You don't need to pay until you've seen and approved of my sketched out plans. I prefer payment through PayPal, though I may possibly be able to through internet banking to my Mum's account too. Have to ask her about it.

Why am I doing them so cheap? Well, I'm not in great need of money at the moment (though of course more is always nice ) but the things I feel like buying for my own pleasure I need to pay for myself, so lately I wanted to get the 2nd season of the old comedy Get Smart. They're a great old series (the new movie that came out '08 is totally inferior) and plain old fun to watch with my parents and siblings when I go back home. So I thought that doing five commissions would take about a month's work, and I should get a minimum of AU$40 so I can buy the next season...which should last me another month.
