Koryzio? Huh? What kind of a name is that?!
You think me name be an odd 'un? Aye, it is, indeed! Koryzio is the Herrardian (one of my languages) word for "insane/crazy/nutty", so methinks you can gather a bit from that, eh?
Can I call you Bob?
You may call me Murray! ("Curse of Monkey Island" quote, sorry.)
Or whatever...
Seriously, I have dozens of names, including Frodo, Charlie, Larly, Captain Crazy, Half-Eaten Pretzel, Question-Mark, Obi-Wan, Ryz, Old Man, Jerry Lewis, Big Uncle Fro Fro, Ryzzikins, Kofro, Cap'n Keyes, Sampson, Lightning, Emo-kiddo, Instant Spellchecker, Salad, Elvis, Zombie, Spider-man, would you like me to go on? There's lots more!
(And if you are curious as to why people started calling me one of these names, feel free to ask. Each one has an interesting story behind it.)
Basically you can call me anything as long as you don't call me late for dinner!
What's your real name?
Uh, you probably could guess from the above list, but maybe not... Why do you want to know?
What is a collaboration?
When two (or sometimes even more) artists all work on the same piece. One may do one character and the other may do another character... or one artist might do the lineart, the other does the colouring... or one may do the characters, the other the backgrounds... or they might just do a total mishmash of insane stuff all over the page (like I often do, it's very fun).
I love doing collabs with people, so if you ever want to don't be afraid to ask me!
How long have you been drawing?
Let's see now... since I could hold a pencil. It seems most parents lock away crafty arty stuff from their youngsters til they are older, but my mother always had them available to me (I don't know why, maybe the fact my Dad was an arty person). The paper and pens/pencils/textas/crayons were always within my reach, and I loved playing with them. I was making up stories, with illustrations on each page, when I was two.
Me and my siblings (wow, if that wasn't bad grammar I don't know what was!) still do so. We go through a couple of those 500xA4sheet packages each month, from drawing anything and everything! We have fun "sketch like a mad thing" nights too and we get a real kick out of the games we play then.
What sort of music do you listen to when you draw?
Um, when I tried to answer that it ended up taking half a page. Let's just say alternative/altern rock, film scores, and insane nonsense songs. If you want to know any more just chat to me on an instant messenger and we can yak about music, it's always a fun topic.
How long have you been doing digital art?
Started back in May, 2006. I still shudder to see my first digital piece (ewwwwwww). And all the art I did more than six months ago seems like absolute junk. Next year I will be ashamed of the gallery I currently have. Funny old world.
Can I add you on MSN/AIM/Yahoo?
Sure! That's why I have them posted on my main page.
Why do you type all funny, like "methinks" and "aye"?
Okay, I know I'll be asked this one day, so might as well answer it now? XD
Um, I have a bad habit of trying to copy other people's accents. It's too fun! People hate me for talking like Gollum all the time...or my Irish one, that'un gets a little on yer nerves if Ah keeps it up too much, lad.
I alsah like tah mimic other accents, laddie, when I be TYPIN', so yew'll hear meh go on like this sometimes... itsa probby when yousa hear mesa spaking Gungan that the mostest annoying-tiring-some to listen-hear to. Okay, that's enough stupidness for one day...
Ugh...you spelt "favourite" wrong.
No way... you Americans are the ones spelling it wrong. XD Aussies spell most things the same way the Brits do, like "colour" "favourite" etc.
Can you teach me to draw?
Uh...bit far away. I'm only tutoring you if you are someone I know from the coast (my mates and family from Nowra, Bomaderry, etc.) or if you are from my school (SPIC). I am willing to help anyone who wants to learn.
What programs do you use?
I use Photoshop Elements 3 for most of my stuff, but I have GIMP as well (similar to Photoshop, but absolutely free) and I sometimes use a trial version of Vector Designer. I want to get OpenCanvas, but it's not available for Apple Mac computers yet.
Why do you do "bonus" pictures for people in trades/exchanges sometimes?
I get bored.
Especially if someone has a particularly interesting character. If I find myself with nothing to do I'll draw them again. It's a bad habit. XD Doesn't always happen though, if I've got a lot of art to do for example.
What other websites are you on?
DA is the site I spend the most time on, but I also use these from time to time. There are also plenty of other places you may find me that I can't recall at the moment... my accounts are usually named "Koryzio".
Do you have an FA account?
I did make an account on FurAffinity to see what it was all about, and I just found it...weird, sickening in many cases, even getting around from page to page on the site is just bleh!

So I don't use this account anymore, I still prefer DA, cos it just rocks my little internet world!
Uhhh... why did you randomly add me to your MSN contacts?
Okay, I get this one a lot, because I randomly add artists off DA that I will IM sometimes when I'm bored. Beware, I can be fairly random in my conversations (depending on how much sugar I've been eating)! XD
What do you specialize in drawing?
I'll have a go at any sort of animals, both quad and anthro, but I specialize in dragons and dinosaurs. Humans?...err...haven't drawn THOSE things for a few years.
Will you draw yiff/p0rn?
WHAT?!? NO! NO! NO! GET OUT OF HERE! Go find some sick artist who wants to draw that sort of stuff for you somewhere else!
If you are reading this and don't know what yiff or p0rn is, then do not worry. It's not for you to worry about. Ugh, some people...
Do you do art exchanges?
I used to do art exchanges a BUNCH at a time, but I've found many of them to be kind of unreliable. I entered Paleo twice but did not get any return art either time. Very dissappointing. So I'll just stick to DAX (with the occasional GAX, Sketch, and Equine) now.
If you are interested in the exchanges, it's where everybody will enter one of their characters and then each gets an assignment to draw someone else's, like a Secret Santa/Chris Kingle deal.
If you like drawing these sort of critters, you really should join! There isn't many artists doing these things anymore, and they're really very fun! Problem is, there are dozens of others that have already died (Canine, Avian, Hybrid, Reptile, Exotic, Lapine, Fur, etc.) because there wasn't so many artists entering. These are the ones that I am aware of that are still working.

My Favourite DA Artists
You have GOT to check out these guys' work, it's absolutely AWESOME! I get a lot of inspiration and endless hours of joy from these fabulous artists.
Favourite NON-DA Artists
John Howe (LotR artist), Alan Lee (LotR artist), James Gurney (paleo artist and author of Dinotopia), and whoever did the covers on the European versions of the Redwall books...
IRL Friends on DA
I really gotta get some of the kids from school to start making DA accounts.
